The forty (40) hour, (24) hour and sixteen (16) hour courses involve baseline field exercises, in which the client provides a suitable venue to conduct the training. Our Front line employee training is a derivative program of the law enforcement level training, which empowers front line employees and establishes their role in todays security continuum. Course material:Module 1: INTRODUCTION The course begins with a clear understanding of the new paradigm shift of how policing in a post 9-11 era has significantly changed for law enforcement professional in the United States. The module continues on to identify why a proactive model to policing is more effective than the traditional model of policing, how the P.A.T.R.I.O.T. System™ is operational throughout the entire security management continuum and how that approach emphasizes on behavioral analysis. Module 2: POLICY, LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS This module provides students with an understanding of the legal considerations of the P.A.T.R.I.O.T. System™ methodology as it relates to the United States Constitution and how the P.A.T.R.I.O.T. System™ methodology does not use or condone racial/ethnic/religious profiling practices. This module also explains how contacts with the public are conducted and specific responses when elevated and reasonable suspicion is found. The P.A.T.R.I.O.T. System™ guidelines for the State of New Jersey are not designed for motor vehicle stops. Module 3: THE CURRENT THREAT This module focuses the participants understanding of extremism in a historical approach to the current threat as opposed to the powerful media influences broadcasted to millions of viewers each and every day. Participants gain a greater knowledge of extremist ideologies and how they relate to todays current threat. This module expands the participants’ pre-conceived notions as to who a suicide bomber might be. Module 4: METHODOLOGY This module now begins the four step process to core P.A.T.R.I.O.T. System™ principles. The participants are taught how to link personal and professional experiences to persons of high interest and how to dispel suspicious behavior if no hostile intent exists in a person of interest. This module continues on to provide students with a complete understanding of the theory of behavior analysis and how the theory relates to identifying baselines in any critical infrastructure and how to distinguish between low or high risk persons. Module 5: EXAMINATION OF TRAVEL DOCUMENTS This comprehensive module prepares participants ability to examine passports, articulate multiple security features contained in a passport and how to recognize tampered and manipulated government identification. This module also broadens the participant’s awareness to suspicious travel patterns. Module 6: INTERVIEW & RESOLUTION This module highlights the power of targeted conversation by illustrating non-custodial interviewing techniques that are designed to dispel elevated suspicion depicted by a person of interest. Participants learn the beginning steps of how the P.A.T.R.I.O.T. System™ methodology integrates as an additional layer of security to their existing standard operating procedures. A field exercise is incorporated into module six which allows the student to implement classroom knowledge with practical application within their critical infrastructure. This field exercise is best achieved with students reporting to training in their duty uniform or displaying proper agency credentials, if assigned to a detective unit where a uniform is not typically worn based on the assignment. Module 7: IMPROVISED EXPLOSIVE DEVICES & CASE STUDIES Students’ awareness is expanded through instruction on use, effects, construction, and operational plans used by the makers of IED’s. In addition, this module provides an in depth look at several terrorists attacks, the types of signatures they use with IED’s and the extremist groups that take credit for the terror they unleash against our nation. The module continues on with individuals associated with suicide bombing attacks and identifies the motivation of each case study as to why they evolved from ordinary people into terrorists. Course conclusion:A de-brief with the participants of the overall course closes out the program. Students are given the opportunity to critique the overall course and the training staff.
