Fitchburg State University will be hosting a three day dual instructor certification course in the P.A.T.R.I.O.T. Training System and V.I.P.R. Training courses.  Participants will be able to return to their campus public safety offices and will be able to train public safety in behavior recognition methods to deter and mitigate criminal behavior and detection of behavior associated with terrorist acts.  Additionally the V.I.P.R. Training instructor certification will allow participants to train the campus community from RA's, to faculty and students on what to look for in suspicious behavior and how to report their observations to campus public safety.  The V.I.P.R. program becomes a force multiplier harnessing the 1000's of eyes and ears on campus to enhance safety and security.
